First Aid Course
On Friday the 16th of September i attended a first aid course with the Entertainment, Pe and Hospitality classes. It was a good experience and i leant a lot. There were a lot of physical components through out the day that we had to complete in order to achieve our first aid certificate. Tasks such as bandaging, practice scenarios and resuscitation on dummies were completed. At the end of the day we participated in an assessment which was the final step to get our Senior First Aid certificate. In order to pass we had to achieve a 80% pass mark and i achieved 98% :)

AFTRS
On Wednesday the 18th of May our Entertainment class went on an excursion to the Australian Film Television and Radio School located at Moore park at Fox Studios. It was a great experience and fun to do something different outside of the school grounds. We participated in a camera skills workshop, and at the end of the day we given a certificate of achievement, stating that we had completed the course.
Through out the day we learnt many skills such as the 'Rule of thirds', many different camera angles and how to break down a script and turn it into a movie using a variety of camera angles.
