Safe Lifting Technique

1. Stand close to the load and centre yourself over it with you feet hip width apart
2. Tighten you abdominal muscles 
3. Keep your back straight and bend your knees
4. get a good grasp on the load with both hands
5. keeping the load close to your body, use your leg muscles and stand up straight
6. Do not twist your body while holding the load, take small steps to move
7. again bend your knees and place load in appropriate spot.


Entertainment Hazards



Trip Hazard
Solution: move bags against the wall or store bags in racks provided.


Trip and Electrical Hazard
Solution: tie cords together and put against the wall or place a caution sign above them so that people are aware they are there


                                                                 

Electrical Hazard
Solution: keep door closed at all times unless they need to be used
